Chef Fino Rodriguez's culinary journey began in Matehuala, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where he was raised surrounded by the rich aromas and flavors of his family's taquerías. From an early age, he learned that food is more than sustenance—it's a language of love, tradition, and community.
With dreams bigger than his hometown, Fino made the bold decision to come to the United States, carrying with him generations of culinary wisdom and an unwavering passion to share authentic Mexican cuisine with the world.

The Birth of Taquero
In 2017, Fino opened the first Taquero location in West Dallas. By 2020, the restaurant relocated to its current home on Ross Avenue, becoming a Dallas culinary landmark.
